Epirb registration

Registered my new epirb on the website 2 weeks ago but have heard nothing. I thought that it might be like the CG66 site and give a confirmation reply at some stage- but nothing heard so far. Got a long trip planned for late November so want to be sure its registered correctly

Is this normal or should I phone them?
Usual problem dont want to ring to be told it takes longer to reply.

Give'em a call. The lady who runs the EPIRB registry is friendly and doesn't bite. Your registration might have gone adrift.

Can confirm her friendliness/helpfulness. She quite restored my faith in officialdom.

It took six weeks to get mine. On the phone she told me it was registered long before that, the paperwork just takes a while occasionally.
