We are planning to charter in Northern Croatia this summer and sail across to Venice.
I was wondering what the entry formalities are upon arriving, where to go, what papers need to be produced, any payments that need to be made, etc.

Also if anyone has any recommended marinas to stay at that would be useful. Our boat has a draft of 1.95m.

Thanks

Only been to Venice about 5 times of which 2 from Croatia - never knew any formalities were needed.
As it's now part of EU think it's even more unlikely now.

Most people go to San Georgio - I prefer to not act as a wild yottie on display to tourists and be cut off from main islands @ midnight when the vaporetti stop - so invariably use the VVV, on Santa Elena, next door to the vaporetti park. If you're over 11m you'll not get into the latter.

As Charles says, nbo formalities, but if a Croatian charter boat make sure that the charter company permits taking the boat out of Croatian waters, is fully insured and they provide the necessary paperwork.
