Entel HT644 radio problem.........At radio switch on all lcd icons illuminate for a 1second and then goes to H, INTL, battery icon, 16 but will not

Entel HT644 radio problem.........At radio switch on all lcd icons illuminate
for a 1second and then goes to H, INTL, battery icon, and last chanel I used 12 but will not do anything else . Nothing operates at all, but was working great previously 2 weeks previously but after charging I just get this ....anyone had a similar problem.....Thanks
