Morning all
I recently purchased my first boat, a Maxum 2400 SCR (Year 2000), and am concerned about the batteries I inherited with it.
Both the leisure and starter batteries are the same size physically and with a rating of 85 AH.
The engine is a Mercruiser 220 HP 5.0L V8
The batteries are not holding a charge very well so I will replace them. Can anyone please suggest a suitable size replacement battery for the starter as I think it may be undersized.
Perhaps someone may also be able to suggest a 'cheaper' supplier ?. I live in North Kent and the boat is in Brighton.
