So what else is there to do on a foul day with the wind and rain screaming around you...

What else... Change the engine oil and filter and then the diesel filters on my boat and a friends... Very very boring but came away with a certain degree of satisfaction that the job is done for another year...

Trouble was I was getting slightly seasick being bounced around in the marina whilst spilling diesel in the bilges...

So what did you today that was better?

I found that I should have been using this seat gizmo for the last 18 months that the previous owner left - i realised i can now steer whilst facing forwards instead of slightly twisted.

Trouble is, it's so comfortable i could easily nod off, i warned myself of that just as the idea that a rear view mirror was all i need now. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

A friend of mine has developed a series of 1000 piece jig saw puzzles, each one of an Admiralty Chart of a Westcountry port. Ideal answer to SWMBO who asks what would you like for Christmas - better than socks, handkerchiefs etc

PM me for details
