Engine monotoring instruments where

Hi! At boat Jumbles ( Beaulieu etc) I often see a stall selling various engine monotiring guages bits like Tachos etc, does anyone have a number for them or anyone similar that may be able to supply me with a tacho with digital hour meter engine driven rather than alternator, suitable for a volvo 235hp diesel.

The guy I think you may be talking about is a guy called Marshall. He used to run northern marine chandleries but in the last few months he packed it in and sold up most of his stuff. I could try contacting him for you cos he was selling a whole EDC set for a volvo penta engine last time I saw him, but it wasn't cheap - then again I don't know the normal list price for 'em and what isn't cheap if it's got the word "marine" tacked onto it?

Otherwise I'd like to know if someone else out there is doing this stuff as phone numbers are always handy...

Thanks Tony that would be most kind of you its the tacometer that I need, the VDO one with a digital engine hour display at the bottom ( black plastic type) from the volvo display panel

I am sure I saw a set of VDO Rev, Amp, Volt and oil on ebay this week. Go have a quick look there.
