HI all , any thoughts as to getting my hands on a paper engine manual for my Fairline Targa 1990. The engines are Volvo Penta AD41/ B. My local dealer has so far sold me a Disc for £12 as a alternative format , im not sure all the works are on there and have no way of knowing (60 pages) /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif.
Any help or info greatly received

From previous post on this exact subject ...
I purchased the technical manual for 41B and also outdrive manual.
The main VP 'Engine manual' is a technical book for basically rebuilds only.
The outdrive manual is a bit better but still for mainly rebuild work.
Would though highly recommend the VP 'DIY manual' which covers your engine in easy talk and also outdrive / shaft gearbox. Lots of jobs around the engine lots of schematic pics in colour plus colour wiring diagrams etc etc.
Its about £25 ish plus pp from helpful VP spares shops. Essential to have one I feel and worth buying.

Hi

I would have thought 60 pages would certainly not cover all of the mechanical/electrical aspects of your engine.
PM on its way

Steve
