Hi,

From the photo below, can anyone identify the make and model of the engine control lever that is fitted to my Beneteau 311.

If you look closely, you can see that the neutral button is broken. Any suggestions on where I can get a replacement?

yes its an early tx control also sold as a volvo control come in 2 versions early which requires assembly from bothsides of the bulkheador later type which with a larger cut out than can have the cables fitted and then be attached to bulkhead
you should be able to get one from any of the usual suspects

Suggest you try the 2nd hand Chandlery barge at Bursledon, if you're in that part of Hampshire. Up the river from Alladin's Cave.
One small point that you may have found, but which took me ages: the lever is usually held onto its spline by a small, nearly invisible grub screw on its underside.

Looks like mine also, which is labelled as something like "Feryman (sic) Diesel", and has a red disengage button. I'm actually hoping to find a replacement which I can attach to the "binnacle" (have I made a fool of myself while trying to name the wheel mount?), so I can be a slob and not need to bend down to operate in a marina.

This is a standard single lever control. I replaced ours in France last year when we had a problem. There was a choice of prices in the three chandlers I tried - same lever - different price. (Interestingly this was on an Island off the Atlantic Coast of France!)

I have bought one from Yachtparts in Plymouth in the past for a previous boat. A little research shows that Teleflex is the manufacturer and they are badged for various engine suppliers (Volvo, Nanni etc)

They are about £120 and Mailspeed Marine have them in stock, but without a photograph.
