Hi Everyone
New to the forum, fairly new to boats but have just bought my second one, a spur of the moment purchase.

I have a bought a Macwester 27 with very little history. I am trying to identify the engine so far nobody has been able to help so I hope someone here may be able to.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks.

Could be something from britishpolarengines.co.uk given what is says on it. May be worth trying them.

Or, Polar were manufacturing heat exchangers back in the day, seem to remember based in Dudley. Product competitive to Bowman who still exist.

Can't see where that is quoted on engine though. Appears to be some writing on the heat exchanger, pretty indistinct on my machine though, maybe o/p cold take close up and of any other marks possibly on sides of cylinder block.

Almost certainly the manifold is Polar as Third engine says - so probably a home grown marinisation of a Kubota as Polar would put letters in front of a number to identify their products.
