Can anyone recommend a good flush to clean the cooling system and both raw and the coolant side?
My engines, although run up every month, have not been used for about 6 or 7 years so there is a lot of muck and bits of scale and salt blocking all the cooling.
I need a good commercial flush to sort this lot out. Any suggestions?

titled Cleaning out cooling system dated 15th July.

It's unlikely the fresh water side is scaled (as long as the coolant has been renewed) but one of the Fernox products should do it (be careful to check for compatibility). For the raw water you'll probably need to strip the heat exchanger out. Muriatic acid is good, but I don't know if you can get it here. In the thread above someone mentions another product.
