My Volvo D6 with around 700 hours sounded low coolant warning on the port engine. Visual inspection showed droplets of coolant liquid dripping very slowly at the base of the turbo and I suspect gasket leakage of the turbo connection. I am no mechanic and wonder if this is a common problem and easily fixed ? Any advice appreciated.

You're possibly better advised to post this on the motorboat forum and there will be more experience of turbos over there. However, if it's simply a leaking gasket it probably will be easy to fix although if you have no engineering experience I would certainly get a second opinion before starting to dismantle anything.

I suspect that if coolant is drippimg from the turbo the main concern will be where is it coming from and how is it getting into the turbo
