This may be of interest to some of you. I have just bought a choke cable (push/pull type) from Sports Car Supplies.
It arrived this morning (only bought it yesterday) and have just fitted it.
It was nearly 6 ft long and was easily trimmed with side-cuts to the length I needed.
Looks ideal for my purposes.
Perhaps if you need to replace some cable on your boats these may be suitable. I don't know about being corrosion resistant, but at about £12 delivered they are a thought.
