Engine alignment and aquadrives

My engine is clearly not perfectly aligned with the prop shaft but I have an aquadrive fitted that should take care of that, I believe. Lately the aquadrive has been shedding globules of black grease. Does this mean the aquadrive is failing. If so what should I do?

In anycase can anyone direct me to the right place for guidance on engine-propshaft alignment and how to improve it.

I have an Aquadrive but the alignment is just about perfect anyway. I was told that deliberately inducing misalignment makes the Aquadrive work more quietly, although I have never tried this theory out. If grease is leaking I would have thought it due to a split in the boot, as it is designed to be a sealed unit. Give it a thorough inspection.
