Engel fridge

Cockpit one sounds like a concrete breaker, can hear it about 3 berths away so I guess its past its sell by date even tho it still gets really cold.

Coz its a built-in one , it needs to be pretty much a like for like replacement.

Any suggestions about where to get a good deal on one, it's an Engel 47L one.

Might be an engel fridge, buut could still be a standard danfoss compressor.

Fairline used Engel fridges for ages.

Now i did have a contact for them but hes moved on to another company, let me see what i can do to help mate.

Oh and i will have those drawings to you very soon.

Before you go & buy another one check the compresser holding bracket has'nt
broken. I had the same problem with mine , a loud knocking noise drove me mad at night, so pulled it out in tending to replace unit found problem, rewelded bracket & now its as good as new......Nat

Had my Engel fridge repaired by Aqua-Marine a couple of years ago. They're in Eastleigh near Southampton and think they were main agents for Engel at the time, hopefully they're still around. Might be worth a call if you get stuck - their number's 02380 694949
