It is happening. Seen last Saturday afternoon on my way to the boat. Chatting to the lock keeper over dinner that evening the offending boat was towed away form the Teddington area for being unlicensed.

No actual info from the EA reports about boats actually being impounded/confiscated or whatever but the forum might like to examine the following extracts and. perhaps ask some questions or draw some conclusions?

For instance _ What is an 'incident' regarding an unregistered vessel?
Who reported the vessels in use without licences ? Lockkeepers? Inspectors? Joe Public?
Who 'moved on or charged fees' to vessels at short stay moorings?
