Hi everyone.
I have a Stourport 27 running on a Perkins 4108 and an Enfield 130 z drive. everything seems to run fine up to just under 2000 rpm. then I start getting a knocking sound which is coming from my outdrive which happens between 4 and 10 seconds each time, the only way I found to stop the knocking is to drop it back into reverse and back into forward gear. I have tried to adjust my Morse cable so that it is central between gears and it still happens. I have removed the cable and done it manually and it does the same thing when I hit 2000 rpm. If anyone can shed any light on this problem it would be much appreciated. If you require any further info just let me know.
