Thought you may be interested in progress so far.

I dropped wife and youngest off at Stansted at 5.30 this morning and got back home to Kent at 6.30 to hear that they had closed the QE2 bridge, probably minutes after I crossed. Have been working from home all day and can almost feel the house moving.

Luckily they got away, and arrived ahead of schedule. Hopefully Doris will be gone for my flight on Saturday.

Here are some pics en route. She is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

Have to say, and no connection, that this is the second time we have used Boatshift and having read some horror stories about some companies, he has done exactly what was agreed and has worked around our schedule - would thoroughly recommend them.

Prepped and waiting for transport at Burton Waters who did a good job of wrapping her
