Anyone see the footage of her up the mast on breakfast TV this morning? The UK distributor of the Topclimber told me that she used one, and from the brief footage it did indeed look as though that was what she was using.

She lost the main halyard and described how it had taken her 5 hours to replace it in quite a sea. Rather her than me!

What is this 'Top Climber' that everyone seems to be talking about?

I am assuming it's some sort of halyard climbing gizmo and I kinda feel that I would like to get one.

Having watched the demo, it seems like a bit of a struggle at the top from hanging under the forestay to turning and facing the other way.

But still easier than many other ways.
