Hi All

My brother in law is soon leaving England to sail his boat (Macwester Seaforth) to his new house in Ayamonte Spain. I want to buy a gift by way of a leaving present for them. Any Ideas?

I am not sure he has all the relevant pilot books for the Spanish/Portugese coastline yet so any suggestions would be good. Maybe some reading material fictional or otherwise about the area?? Gimmicks or gadgets?

Just looking but would appreciate a starter.

Thanks

Scott

Apart from a water maker !! how about something thats seriously practical like a windscoop, a good quality piece of kit like a sailing knive or a tilley hat or shorts. If the budgets a bit lower how about a nice sailing log book which you could have inscribed with his yachts name or simply write a lovely message of good wishes.

'The Spanish Fiisherman's Guide to Colregs'

Love it.

101 uses for a dead Spanish fisherman??

Thanks for the other ideas. Water maker could be a tad out of my price range but the others are on the list.

What about a Leatherman multi purpose tool, that's a handy gadget that he will thank you for, and you could also give him a years supply of Marmite if he's that way inclined. I gather its hard to come by in Spain
