Please be aware of the following emergency river restriction and see the Harbourmaster’s notice attached.

When: Thursday 25 May 2017 until further notice
Where: Iffley Reach
What’s happening: Emergency closure of the southern navigation channel and arch at Folly Bridge, Oxford. A large piece of concrete has fallen into the river and this is now lying 2 feet below the water’s surface. We have marked the obstruction with marker buoys.

We apologise for any inconvenience this emergency closure causes and thank you for your patience during this time.

The southern channel is the one, 20 years ago, Salters were always trying to block up, had to complain several times to get them to move their boats.
