My congratulations to you on getting a yacht to leave the UK on 28th November 2004, sail 27,354 miles around the world and arrive back 72 days later.

Could you please let me know when the kitchen I ordered 96 days ago will be arriving from your warehouse 13 miles away?

Do yo have any clue how much it hampers a sailing boat to go around the world with all the stuff for your kitchen on board?

Don't expect it for at least another 100 days. By then it will be back at the warehouse so you can collect it yourself.

Then he will find that he has everything except the cooker or some other essential part that may or may not turn up in the unforeseeable future as happened with our new kitchen last year from 'Broken but Quick'. We eventually got a cooker from elsewhere when we got fed up banging our heads against the proverbial brick wall.

Dear Mr Roberts

On behalf of B&Q I would like to apologise for the poor service you received recently. Unforuntately there was a back log in our factory caused by an unforseen order for a 72 foot trimaran, exacerbated by the breaking down of the coffee machine.

We hope to have your kitchen with you within a week as soon as we have retrieved the doors from the said trimaran.

In the event that you know of someone who wants to buy a 72 foot trimaran with a shaker style interior then please let us know.

It's a shame the guys that put the tri together could not use the same skill and technology to put your kitchen together!! But I guess if they did your cheepo kitchen you have bought would cost a few 100 grand more than you are paying.....pay your money and make your choice!!!!! spent many years fitting these things and to be honest you get what you pay for!!
