Not a great fan of far eastern stuff, that is until recently, twas in La Nap the other day and this jobbie rocked up having just been launched. Being the nosey so and so that I am went and had a shufty and asked the skipper for a look around, no probs hop on! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well have to say this thing is built like a brick [--word removed--] house, actually no change that more like a bomb shelter!!! lovely detail and excellent joinery, machinery spaces were like and operating theatre and very 'Nordhavn-esque' engineering.

Skip says not the fastest thing on the circut but enough to keep the owner happy.

Just thought I'd share that with you since not much happening here at the moment.

You see quite a few of them in the Med and I think they were at SIBS last year. As you say, I believe they are Taiwanese built to the specification of a German company (Drettman?) and come into the 'lotta boat for the money' category. Unlike other production boats I think owners get a high degree of customisation choice which probably accounts for the fact that some of the ones I've seen have bordered on the tasteless inside. Good party boats

I lust mightly for yone of these - proper boat/ship.

The contruction is huge , E/R space superyacht like, very robust and built in the Horizon yard in the F.East with some serious supervision.

But the ones i have seen, like you say, were god awful within the accomodation - layout good/ custom jobs fine just the owners taste was in their mouths!!!!!
