Hi

I need a small electronic repair to a circuit board on my battery charger. I think all that is required is a bit of delicate
soldering work and/or perhaps replacement of a resistor. The soldering required is too precise for my lump hammer skill levels !

Anyone know where I can get such work done in the Poole area.

Have a go yourself. A tiny soldering iron is cheap to buy. if you find a gap in a PC track then use a strand of tinned copper wire from a stranded tinned wire and carefully lay it across the gap with a little solder. sometimes it is easier to bridge points of large solder land at the same potential but remote from the break with suitably heavy wire. If you get too mudh solder on the tracks you can use solder wick which is like a copper braid with flux which will wick up nthe excess solder and you can start again. The biggest danger is getting it too hot such that the copper track delaminates and is further damaged. good luck olewill
