Can anyone give me some ideas as to why my boats electrics have tripped. Turned everything off. Nothing much on at the time. Have tried changing ship to shore power lead but to no avail. Where do I start ?

Water heater element.

If I remember, they can short to Neutral so having the panel switch off which is usually the live side’ wont stop it tripping shorepower. Disconnect all the wires to the element, make safe and see what happens

Mine isn't a 320 so I am not familiar with the 240v power distribution on the 320, but are you familiar with the Corvette Motorboat Association - plenty of 320 owners on there to ask.

Yes thank you. Been so busy but had a couple of contaminated oxidised positives connectionsnin a socket. Heard the socket arking. Cleaned wires and replaced sockets. All good.

Many thanks for your reply. Turned out to be some dirty wiring on a socket. Cleaned wires and replaced with new sockets. Will remember your advice for future reference.
