Been to look at a Azzi 42 today that is all electric and fitted with a microwave under the hob unit swmbo requires it to have a proper electric oven could any one recommend a suitable one that could be fitted where the microwave is I have found a few that look suitable but are gas what are normally fitted on all electric boats

You can fit anything as long as it fits.

The fits but is the issue and the combo microwaves tend to be smaller ... which is why they are fitted on assumes.

It also gives you a passable oven and a microwave.

Miele do a really good combo oven microwave but it is larger than the typical boat sized box

You're better altering the cabinetry and fitting a Miele h6600, or similar from Siemens etc. This is the semi standard 45cm high type of oven. Not as big as a full house oven, but 60cm wide and pretty good.
If you limit yourself to existing cabinetry then you're going to be stuck with a microwave that just does frozen pizza
You'll need 15amps in the 230v supply if you fit a proper oven but that is hopefully not difficult.

I'm fitting my Whirlpool JT (6th sense), to our new boat. It's a really good compromise and will roast, steam, bake and indeed - warm up a frozen pizza. Very good bit of kit but hard to find in UK.

Same form factor as a large microwave.

Thanks for the advise I will look at what's involve in making the cabinet larger to take a 600 wide oven if not possible then it will have to be a combo microwave we will see what happens

If all else fails, get one of these. Have yet to find something you can't do in it that you can in a conventional, we have one on the boat & one at home. The home one often gets used in preference to the full Neff kit as results can be better !
Have done a full roast on the boat as well.

Bosch, Miele, Siemens etc use the Panasonic Inverter and Magnetron, good bit of kit. I have been using one for 10 years and agree the results are great.
