I am winter sailing at Rutland water this year...no petrol/diesel engines allowed..

this would help with getting on/off the pontoon and if the wind dies....

I have a leisure battery that I can take home everytime to charge...so not worried about the battery power..

Thought it would be good on the tender for the kids to play with in the summer.....

The Genre are good in themselves. Don`t know of that engine although it may be of Chinese origin. Best ones are Minn kota with a maximiser device to get the most out of your battery. That model could surprise you though and is a good price. Think they made budget fishing reels.
