Electric Heads on Ranger 245

Hi I have a Hunter Ranger 245 with a manual 'Merde and Ude' loo. Her indoors wants an electriv loo to cut out all the pumping we always have to do to get it sucking water in.
I've heard negative and positive reports of the elctrically pumped Jabsco's etc.

Would forumites recommend this or should I leave well alone ?

I have a 245 and the manual jobby weecher is fine. Where do you put your house battery by the way?
