Just found this web site to calculate the voltdrop of cables. Its an excell spreadsheet calculation. you just enter the size , length and current and it calculates the voltdrop that will occur.
The website also has a calculation for anchor size. You enter a vaue for the length of boat, windspeed and it calculates the tension in the line. You then enter details of the line and it tells you how much to put out.
