Had a problem trying to decide if I should turn down the electric blanket from 2 to 3 last night.. you see it got down to a minimum of 26*C ( 80.6*F) ...not as bad as Roma yesterday, which had 57*C (134.6*F).. but thats out back of Queensland...

If you had the electric blanket on, yes you have a problem! You need a transfusion - probably full of Amber Nat's Pee instead of blood!! lol

I will be passing through (yes passing through, thank goodness!) Melbourne on Tuesday and I will feed back an HONEST report to the forum.

Won't tell you what the weather is like in Wellington, but wife and I spent the weekend on the boat, got soaking wet getting from the boat to the car to come home and the anemometer's highest reading, averaged over 4 secs so not the peak, was 78 knots! Is nicer up the coast where we live though, just pouring with rain.

We have a similar problem here off the East Coast of India. Still in a few days we will be moving to the East Coast of Malaysia so I guess we may be able to take the blanket off. Well we would if the electrician can warm up the aircon!!!

If it's that hot at night, you are welcome to it. Up in the NW we had a frost followed by a pleasantly warm sunny day. Perfect for February.

Went out to work in Perth a few years back. -18C, Yes MINUS 18C, when I left Aberdeen in February. +42C when I stepped of the plane in Perth.

Talk about a shock to the system !!

Wish I was back there now sailing on the Swan river!
