Eleanor, a Vertue classic yacht No 24 built 1949 by Newmans.
The wood hull, teak below the water line mahogany above is in need of TLC and a lot of restoration to return her to her former glory. She is due to arrive by road to Barry within the next fortnight and placed in the clubs work shop. This is a project for the next few winters, with the aim of having her sailing in time for the 2010 Milford Classic boat event.
Dawn Star my V32 will this year be wintering afloat at Cardiff Marina,in an effort to get more sailing in during the nice days when I not working on Eleanor.
