following up from your cheeky post http://www.ybw.com/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/1522499/an/0/page/1#1522499
all I can say is it's better to be arsing around in a boat than shufting through webcams /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I will keep my eyes peeled on the Douglas Marina webcam to get my own back /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

We had a lovely evening on the hook at Sorrento bay on Saturday evening. Sunday dawned sunny and calm so I left Mrs SV2 in bed as I took SV2 out of the marina at 8am. I made sure not to use the bow thruster /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif and she slept through the engines starting but I blew it by flushing the bog (feckin thing would waken the dead).

Anyway I was at the SWM before she surfaced - just in time to take in the fenders /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Some pics from Sunday - a welcome break in the weather /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Conditions look dodgy but I'm made of stern stuff:

Dropped the hook at 9am - time to fire up the genny for brekkie:

Decided to give the swim a miss though:

On the way home we came across this Sealine T50 with British Ensign heading North from Malahide:

Weather made a turn for the worst so we headed for home. Berthed in heavy rain /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif at 3pm but we had a nice 7 hours of sunshine /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Nice pics, as usual, fancy waking her up by flushing the bog, couldn't you have gone over the side (pun intended)? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The noise would have been much worse (from Mrs SV2) if I hadn't flushed. Bad enough leaving the seat up /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Yea Mick, Nautical should drive a real boat instead of watching eastern europen style TV pictures of proper boats in action /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You`re a brave man running the genny with all those Jelly bombs about. I sucked one up my cooling intake in Yarmouth last year and it was enough to cut it out with an over heat alarm. Got a better water filter now. No doubt Fairline would have already fitted the best one though

Thank's DV - how right you are.

Notice how still the water is - I switched off the genny when I saw them drift in.

Also made sure all was clear when I started the engines.

Didn't fancy cleaning one of these blighters out.
