The manual says to lubricate the pedestal shaft bearings with 'Teflon Part No 827' grease, squeezing in in to the holes on top of the bearing housings. I cannot find this grease available in the UK, is there a suitable alternative? I have some 'SUPER LUBE 85G 2105011 By LOCTITE' onboard for other uses, would that be suitable?

The roller chain, the manual says use #30 oil, but I have seen elsewhere that something like this spray 'Wurth High Performance Dry Chain Lube', is both better and easier to apply. Thoughts?

Again, oil the wire and sheeves or dry lube spay?

TIA

Your Super Lube grease has PTFE in it; Teflon is just another name for PTFE-based products. So your grease will be fine for the bearings.

The spray chain lube will also be fine.

I ended up not having any of that on board, I now have some on order, but will not receive it until next weekend.

I do have 2 tubes of 'Carlube silicone multi-purpose grease' would that be suitable? If not, I will have to put off to next weekend, but would be a shame as I have a willing helper tomorrow.

There's so little stress on the bearings that almost any sort of grease would be OK.
