As a sober dutchman i am absolutely baffled by the uproar on this BB and also BYM -btw, i have posted same there- I thought this were grownups using it, but it looks likes a quibling childrens playground.

I mainly read and sometimes -when i have a serious question- post on both BB;s and ussually get a serious answer. I would have thought that when one suspects a wind-up one either ignores it or falls for it and take the consequences.

As to editing posts, i dont go into who did what and why not, but in my view posts can never be edited because of content unless offensive to individuals or groups or legally offensive. Leaves the question of what is offensive of course.
If i call Hump an a..h..e because he did what he did on SB would you edit? At least he had the guts to apologise. What if i called Westwind a lier?

Come on people, grow up.

Happy sailings.

What\'s this doing here, Kim?

Your dateslip button has slipped, Kim, because this thread hasn't been touched for 4 weeks, yet is showing up with a June 26 date on it. Shome mishtake shurely.

No, someone has been playing. If you post against an old thread then immediately delete the post the thread remains at the top with the date slip facility as is. Just the way the database works. Someone on MBC had a hoot by resurrecting many of my own threads from the past, a bit like seeing the ghosts rise out of a graveyard. I threw my stress beads out of the pram but have had a cup of tea and am somewhat recovered :)
