Ecellent Road Transport service to Greece

I'd like to sing the praises of a company that, in my experience, can be relied upon to transport your bits and large pieces from the UK to Greece.
New Euroline Ltd in the person of Hillary Tzallas are based in the UK at Daventry and have helped me out of a hole that I'd managed to get myself into by looking for the cheapest quote. They have regular truck loads going out to Greece and when I say truck I mean a very large articulated lorry, not a transit van.
I had booked by load with 121 Transport but ran foul of their internal communications which in my experience didn't work to the point where their driver took off in the direction of Dover in a very big huff leaving my stuff behind having claimed to know nothing about 50% of the items. When asked why he didn't take the 50% he did know about he slammed the phone down preceded by some choice words.
Hillary to the rescue! One week later my stuff was on it's way to Preveza. It was collected from Sittingbourne on Monday evening and by Friday morning was in the hands of Pat at Preveza Yacht Services. Of almost equal reassurance to me was that New Euroline are a licenced carrier so my bits were insured and their lorry isn't a potential target for the Greek customs. Transport to Greece

I contacted 121 Transport after giving up the idea of driving my car to Preveza. I was given an excellant quote by Gill, and even though my initial number of boxs and weight increased, it was no problem after a quick e-mail. Vernon turned up on my doorstep on time, loaded up all 15 boxs and delivered them to my yacht at Cleopatras yard on the agreed day and time and all in excellant condition. I was 100% happy with the service and would gladly use them again.

I have used Vernon and Gill of 121 Transport a few times, and their service is excellant, they went out of their way to help me out.

It costs north of a grand to get a transit van from the uk to Greece and back. ( The channel ferry costs nearly £200 alone! ) then there's the Venice/Greece ferry, Diesel, road tolls and someone's time for at least 48 hours not to mention the miles on the vehicle. With what they are charging there's little profit in it. Plus the running around in the Uk and when the driver pitches up there is no room for the extra boxes you have.

I've used both the companies you have mentioned and been happy with the service from both.

Must admit that 121's driver can be a little 'prickly' though

A vote for 121 transport who recently delivered an outboard from Leeds to Nidri for me , no problems with communications and always replied very quickly to my emails even around the xmas period . Pick up went fine - goods were weighed as I expected they would be and placed aboard the van - okay yes its a character van driven by a character driver but i was happy with the service and would certainly use again .
