Eberspatcher fuel pump

Hi all .

I want to resite my eberspatcher fuel pump ,question is should it be sited closer to
the unit or fuel tank or doesn't it really matter ? (At present its about halfway)

There is not much in it. The fitting instructions state that the line from the tank to the pump must not be more than 5 metres and from the pump to the heater, 6 metres. See Espar's web site for downloads.

I got my Eber fitted professionally and they fitted the pump right next to the fuel tank rather than the eber. As I understand it pumps find it easier to push rather than suck ..
