Krueger have informed me that my heater needs a new blower fan (situated inside the unit) as it has come away from it’s mount and is rubbing on the inside of the body.

It is a bit of a blow as I only bought it 18 months ago! Naturally the warranty is only for a year. Perhaps I should have followed my natural instinct and installed a wood burning stove after all!

The wood burning stove would be great. Just think of the hot glow in the cabin. One disadvantage would be the dacron sails get quite full of soot wouldn't they ? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yeah right! Tighten the motor-to-body bolts up, and make sure the case isn't distorted!

My second hand eber was fairly noisy at first, the bearings needed oil - cured by dripping oil into bearing ends until it stopped squeaking worked perfectly after that.

I argued with them when my CPU failed after a simialr amount of time; they replaced it FOC (I had to take the unit back to them) Try quoting the Sale of Goods Act...

Should have kept quiet - went to boat today, ran the b. thing for 35 minutes, then it revved up and down a bit, stopped never to go again! Serviced by Krueger six months ago - if they don't repair it FOC there will be hell to pay 'cos I'm not!
