Eberspacher smells

Hi all,
Anybody know why my Eberspacher is smelly, checked it out but all seems ok, starts smelling when it gets really hot.
Any thoughts?

Could be restricted airflow making the ducting overheat. Sort of depends on what kind of smell, I guess.

I found the hot air ducting from mine had a crack and was leaking hot air. This was too close to the bilge pump pipes and the heat was melting the plastic and making the smell.
Might be worth checking that you dont have a similar problem

Low battery voltage on start up can lead to poor combustion and very smelly. If smelly later after normal start up check of leak in exhaust vent system.
