Hi all,
Looking to fit a heater on my voluminous 32' Colvic. (after cabin and fully enclosed central wheelhouse. What size do you reccomend? 1.6kw and just heat the heads or 5kw for that all over glow.

As I can vent one out through the stern or through the wheel house side, would it be better to instal the device in the wheelhouse (central) so that the heat is sent fore and aft or better near the stern just to send the heat one way.

It would be nice to heat the wheelhouse or is this taking comfort too far??

Cheers

The first decision you need to make is exactly how many vents you want and whether you can do them with minimal hose length. If you need more than 2 but can manage with minimal hose length (mine has 5 outlets, but only abt 5m of hose) then the 4kw airtronic may be suitable. If the trunking needs to be small and /or long, then go for a hot water and radiator using the 5kw system.

Havent seen any 2nd hand. If you were closer (portsmouth) would say welcome to come and look at my installation. Did it myself after being quoted >£500.
