Eberspacher - second on/off switch

Our Eberspacher has one of these controllers in the saloon:

Does anyone know if it's possible to add a second controller to the system? It doesn't need to be anything fancy, even just a push button to start the Eber would do.
I was thinking maybe splicing a push switch into the appropriate wires to the controller. Would that work?

Or a second controller altogether wouldn't go amiss. Just something so we can turn the Eber on from the master cabin!

Anyone have any tips?

From memory, it ought to be possible, IIRC it is only one wire taken to the +ve that switches the thing on.
You might need to make sure the thermostat/controller box did not object to having its output taken high by the external switch, so it might be best to buffer the output with a relay, rather than just slapping a switch in parallel.
