Further to recent threads, just wanted to post a thumbs up for Colchester Fuel Injection Ltd.

I eventually took my ancient D3L there on a Saturday afternoon. They could have done a service while I waited, but the man was out on an emergency maintenance job, so I left it with them. They called at each step of the way through the service and repair to discuss it and were very helpful and friendly. It did cost a little more than I had anticipated, but not that much. It was serviced, cleaned up, new glowplug and wick. By the Tuesday it was delivered (foc) to my office in London all done. Had it put back on on Saturday and it's running like a dream. Very happy.

(no connection, etc. Just a happy customer).

I was told to ask for "Heater Ray", but he wasn't there and it was a younger chap - can't remember his name. But he was very good and although he misdiagnosed in the first place, he went away and double-checked with Ray and then called me back to tell me so and alls well that ended well.
