Eberspacher parts

Does anyone know where I could get secondhand parts for my DL1C system as the prices off the shelf are high. I am after the siver control box. Would I be able to get this from a car breakers as eberspacher are used in trucks or is this a completely different system?

Yes you can get the parts from a srap yard. I got my complete system from a comercial vehicle breakers yard. I have a brand new silver control box for the eberspacher spare but it is out of a 24v system and I dont know if it is compatable with 12v.

I dont know if this helps but on the d7 only the glow plug is interchangeable for either 12 or 24, as it is run with a dropping resistor ( thinking about it the sparker might be also)

Sent direct reply, but also checked the parts list. Found that there are 4 different control boxes depending on which unit it is controlling.
