Can anyone recommend an Eberspacher Engineer, local to the Hamble ?

I have a Eber D5 fitted in the boat with just a thermostat ans on/off switch,so I thought I would change to one with a 7 day timer, looked in the installation manual, identified the one
& found a nearly new one on fleebay, tried to fit it today, hoping it to be an easy plug in job, but my old one has 7 wires and this one has 4.
Any advise welcome, be nice !!!
Cheers
Roy

I have a seven day timer with the one hour thing..I would be very keen to take your thermostat jobbie off your hands if it would fit a D2.....

If your current D5 has 7 cables then I can safely assume it is an airtronic, if the 7 day timer you have bought has four cables and no temperature target rheostat (often wrongly called a thermostat dial) you can safely assume it is designed for a water heater, in which case you don’t need an Ebo engineer, you need the right bit. That said it is possible to wire the 7 day timer in alongside the existing target rheostat but to get an Ebo engineer to do that will probably cost more than you can source the correct part for and fit it yourself.

There is a guy in Gosport Marina that does them if you click on search above then eber or webasto you will find his details, i found them not long ago that way

Thanks for the advice Guys, I think I have the wrong part, teach me to be cheap!!!
I will try the guy at Gosport, show him the part and go from there.
Cheers all.
