The Eberspacher DL5 on the boat has been reliably used, on and off, since we bought her in January.

This weekend it refused to start.

It takes the command, indicates that it is going to run for an hour, or whatever is set, then nothing.

Is there a reset button?

Any obvious things to check before I get someone out.

Any suggestions for an expert close to Hamble river.

Thanks

Tony.

I guess this is the old model? I dont know about the dl5 but the DL1s had a reset button under a black rubber 'bubble'. Dont forget ( the very common 'fault') Poor power supply !!! some connections may have suffered, the system is ok for low power stuff like the timer ect but as soon as you need real starting power it is not up to it. Check connections then try it with engine running and charging.
good luck.

I don't know the age, but the boat is 2002.

I have tried it whilst the batteries were on charge, 14v.

It will come as no surprise that it is not very accessible, but I will look for a reset button.

Thanks

Tony.
