Recently flattened batteries but now sorted. The display reads '- - 1' and pressing any button does not alter it! Anybody know whats wrong? Thanks, Mark.

Even though the battery was "flat" there would still be some voltage present which could trigger odd fault codes, try disconnecting the power supply completely to the heater for a minute or so and try again.
