We have one of these wonderful devices on board and when we bought the boat it was working ok.However at some point it seems that we tried to start it too many times with a low battery and according to the instruction manual is now permanently out of action. Can I reset this myself or do I need to take it to a service engineer. Any help is as always much appreciateed.

Try pulling both fuses, and leave out for some minutes. Worked with my old boat with a D3LC.

10 failed starts or 20 when no flame detected is this the compact model?
I suggest you buy and fit the 7 day diagnostic timer which shows error codes and can be used to clear codes and clear lock out
£40 often on ebay plus (probably) a plug £9.
