Eberspacher D2 hood keeps falling off

As per the title, the little tabs that keep the hood on don't seem to be managing to do the job. Anyone have any tricks/tips for holding this on? At the moment, I'm contemplating gaffa tape.

A few dabs of sikaflex or similar around the joint - dabs mind or it will never come off again. Use some electrical tape to secure it while it sets.

When customers are too tight to pay for new casing parts I use gaffer tape and it seems to work very well.
