Is it possible to have an extra heating on off controller in the bedroom?

It is a D5 unit with std controller in the saloon. I want to be able to turn the heating on in the early hours without having to get out of bed.

Not quite the Answer

Not sure if Eberspacher do likewise but my Webasto has 'Thermo Call' which you can dial up from your mobile, which is not only great when you're on the way to the boat on a cold night, but I have been known to dial it up from the bed

I think turning on is a case of temporarily connecting two of the control wires together. So in theory any push to make switch could be used to fire it up. I'm not sure what settings it would take then. Probably as it was left. I have a mate who has connected a GSM gate opener to his D2.

Think the way forward is to fit a timer, anyone know if this can be fitted as well as the controller/stat so I can have the timer in the fwd cabin and controller in the saloon
