My Eberspacher, which is my pride and joy and the best thing on the boat on cold night, packed up last week. I got the local dealer to plug his diagnostic unit in to see what the problem was. (The boat is in a yard at the back of his shop). Diagnosis - failed main relay.
'Doesn't sound too bad' says I.
'£325 for new unit' says he. 'But I can give you 20% discount'.
What can you do? SWMBO won't come on the boat without it. So I asked him to fix it - which he has done very promptly. Hope it has a good warrantee.
