Eating in Chichester

Anyone got any recommendations for eating out in Chichester?

if you have a car drive round to the' old house at home' in Chidham - great gastropub - if you havent then if you are in the marina you only have a choice of the spinnaker (expensive for not very good food) and CYC , which I've never tried

Comme Ca restaurant in Broyle road, about a fiver by taxi from marina. Tel 01243 788724. Excellent French food and friendly.

'ASK, Slug and Lettuce, Ziggi's', offer usual 'high street' cuisine quality. 'Confusious' an excellent Chinese (off South Street). Comme Ca, North of the City is superb but at a cost to match (but worth it) All within a £5 cab fare from Chi Marina. Black horse 3/4 mile walk from Marina, good pub food but busy - have to book most of the time.

If you are treating someone special,The Millstream Hotel in Bosham is hard to beat.Just don't try to book when Goodwood is on!!
