Any recommendations for a good value restaurant for dinner on a Monday evening in Cherbourg?

Lots to choose from, all situated around the Avant - Port area just South of the marina. (opposite the swing bridge)

Cafe de paris is great, or Le vauban or le cotentin all have a good range on the menu and lots of fresh fish.

Mondays are quiet in provincial France.

La Regence on the quay is quite good; also there is a very good value place somewhat to the rear of La Regence/Le Cotentin. Can't remember name, it's oppposite the wine merchants - can't remember name of that either (Cave Dubegny?). Excellent value lunches, not sure about Mondays (and rainy days in Cherbourg always get me down!). We were nice to the Maitre. His friend runs the wine merchants and got us an extra discount!
